In May 2019, Babbette Jackson graduated as the sole African American female in Computer Information Systems from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and later joined Edward Jones as a Senior Insider Threat Analyst. Her specialty in Data Loss Prevention and Insider Threat positions her at the forefront of protecting company assets, and she has developed significant expertise in managing insider threats and information security. Committed to lifelong learning, her investigative approach and hands-on methodology in cybersecurity have led to the development of innovative strategies and solutions in her field.

Additionally, she is a passionate public speaker and advocate, dedicated to empowering minorities in the field of cybersecurity. After her autism diagnosis in 2021, she became a fervent promoter of neurodiversity awareness. Utilizing her TikTok platform, she engages her audience with insights into neurodiversity, while her Instagram page serves as a conduit for demystifying and disseminating knowledge about cybersecurity. As an African American woman in STEM and a member of the neurodiverse community, her story is a testament to resilience, overcoming obstacles, and advocating for inclusivity within cybersecurity and STEM at large.
