Inspired by positive personal experiences and a passion for cloud technology, I began my IT journey in 2018. However, I faced a lot of challenges before securing my first role. Through self-study, my interest in cybersecurity grew, and one day, I discovered the Cyversity SANS Diversity program. I reluctantly applied and didn’t know that was going to be a life-altering decision for me. Cyversity proved pivotal, providing mentorship, personal and professional advancement, valuable training, and insights from industry experts. For budding cybersecurity talents, communities like Cyversity can catalyze your career breakthrough.
Working as a mentor at Cyversity has been immensely rewarding! Through this platform, I've had the privilege of interacting with a diverse group of individuals. Mentorship, at its core, is a two-way street of teaching and learning, and Cyversity provides the perfect environment for such exchanges. My mission is to usher in a fresh wave of perspectives and diversity in our domain, igniting innovation and fostering a passion for cybersecurity.
